One Compliment to Blow Bubbles Up Every Team’s A**

With the playoffs approaching, putting everyone in a good mood, I decided I should be nice for this piece.

Last article, I decided to burst every fanbase’s bubble by sending a roast towards every team. This one is a little different. The complete opposite actually.

My intent with this is to rekindle my relationship with every fan base by giving each team that was initially invited to the bubble a compliment, and discuss one thing I like about each team.

Boston Celtics

Other than the Rockets, who run essentially five guards, this is the most switchable team defensively. They are the only team to finish the bubble top-six in defense and offense, and are an extremely strong two-way team.

Brooklyn Nets

Only eight teams finished the seeding games with a record above .500, and the Nets were one of them! This team absolutely competed under Coach Jacque Vaughn, and will be a tough out for the Raptors.

Dallas Mavericks

I roasted Luka in the last piece, but he really is the best young-player in the league. If Dallas can build a team around him that can win a couple rings, Luka could have a GOAT-like resume, assuming full health.

Denver Nuggets

Michael Porter Jr. is a stud, and the perfect fit next to Jokic. These two and Murray are going to make noise in this league for a while.

Houston Rockets

The extreme small-ball experiment has worked… So far.

Indiana Pacers

Congratulations to TJ Warren for making the All-Bubble first team. Who would’ve predicted that heading in? Probably no one, because no one knew this award existed.

Los Angeles Clippers

I’ve always thought the Clippers had the best wings in the league. Clearly Lou Williams preferred elsewhere.

Los Angeles Lakers

You’ll have the Portland Trail Blazers to get your offense back on track. Be thankful for that.

Memphis Grizzlies

Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. are already stars in this league, and Memphis will be a scary team for a long time.

Miami Heat

The opposing teams should be tired, as long as Jimmy continues to dribble in his room at 4:00am.

Milwaukee Bucks

Unlike Lou Will, Giannis used his head.

New Orleans Pelicans

At least Zion is rested for next season.

Oklahoma City Thunder

No one saw this coming. One of my favourite teams to watch, and they have a legit chance at beating Houston in round one.

Orlando Magic

I don’t think a lot of people will be watching you get swept by the Bucks.

Philadelphia 76ers

The Embiid-Simmons pairing does work! It’s about who’s around them. These two are a dangerous pairing, and can be for a long-time.

Phoenix Suns

There wasn’t a single person outside of Suns fans that thought Phoenix should have been invited. They came in, kicked butt, and now head into next season riding a high.

Portland Trail Blazers

Dame Time… ‘nough said. Who needs a stop when you can score 130 consistently?

Sacramento Kings

Vlade Divac stepped down!

San Antonio Spurs

Probably my favourite team to watch in the bubble. Never in a thousand years did I think I would be saying that the Spurs were my favourite team to watch.

Toronto Raptors

I don’t care what the stats say, this is the best defensive team in the league. OG Anunoby is the best on-ball defender in the league, and the entire roster is strong on that end. They finished the bubble with a defensive rating of 102.7, which is absolutely amazing.

Utah Jazz

Just know that Utah is a really strong team when Bogdanovic is healthy. Without him…a little shaky.

Washington Wizards

I had to utilize an external source for this one.
